Would like some dutch oven recipes?

Husband bought me a dutch oven for my birthday! He likes beef stew, pot roast, chicken pot pie...(That I usually make in the crock pot)

I want to try something different.

My husband doesn't like a lot of foods. He is a meat and potato kind of guy. He hatres veggies but he does like corn, potatoes, carrots, celery, %26amp; onions.

I want something different but it is hard to cook with a picky husband!

any recipes and pictures of the foods would be great!!! that way I can show my husband what it looks like.Would like some dutch oven recipes?
I was starting to think that this birthday gift was a ploy for your husband to get you to go camping. I still think he is but after a lot of research (I like to learn new things even though I don't have a dutch oven), the sites below is the best I can come up with. It was almost impossible to find recipes using a dutch oven that didn't require cooking over a campfire. I hope at least this will give you some ideas. The gloriouspotmeal site is a newsletter from a lady who only writes about cooking with a dutch oven. Probably not a bad idea to sign up for her newsletter. Of course she wants you to buy her book, but I think that her newsletter is free and you may get helpful hints and real recipes (not like the wimpy one seen on her home webpage). That's all I got. Sorry it really doesn't fully respond to your question. I was wondering why no one had responded in six hours. Now I know. Happy dutch ovening.

Krystal with you being a chef, is it that you have lost some of that spark cause you have a picky husband? I have a couple of Dutch oven recipes, but I am a lazy SOB. I do not like to overpower (as we both learned) the base ingredient with spices and herbs, everything in moderation.

Before I forget, does he like wines in cooking or deadly brandy main courses? How is he with pork, specially the hocks?

Can you please let me know, and I will start sending you parts of the ten commandments, to re-spark your culinary imagination, as the lecturer used to put it lolol.
